Safety Center

Member safety

Safety comes before introductions.

CircleMatch is built around private communities, limited discovery, reporting, blocking, and slower profile unlocks. No app can guarantee safety, but the product is designed to reduce careless exposure.

Dating safety

Meet thoughtfully

  • Use the in-app chat until trust is established.
  • Meet in a public place for early dates.
  • Tell a trusted person where you are going.
  • Arrange your own transportation.
  • Leave any situation that feels pressured, unsafe, or wrong.
Scam awareness

Never send money to a match

  • Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, or payment app transfers to someone you met through the app.
  • Be cautious if someone rushes emotional intimacy, avoids meeting, asks to move off-platform quickly, or creates an emergency story.
  • Report suspicious behavior in the app and consider reporting fraud to the proper consumer protection agency.
Tools

Report, block, and unmatch

Members can report a user, block a user, pass on an introduction, or end a match. These actions help prevent future introductions between the same people and help CircleMatch review safety concerns.

Moderation

How concerns are handled

Reports may be reviewed by CircleMatch and, when relevant, a circle admin may be notified about membership action. Private chat content is not available to circle admins by default.

Emergency

If you are in immediate danger

Call local emergency services. CircleMatch support is not an emergency response service.
